Our intent is to provide a summer-camp, extended-weekend wedding experience for our loved ones. However, we understand that it is Labor Day weekend and there may be conflicts. Please do what is best for you, but we would love to celebrate with as many guests as possible all weekend!

Yes! The welcome party, ceremony, and reception will all be held at Sojourn Lakeside Resort.

Welcome Dinner: Polished, but relaxed. Sundresses, polos, button-downs, khakis are all great. No need for formalwear but please skip anything too casual like gym clothes.
Wedding day: Formal attire. Suits, ties, button-downs, dress pants would all be acceptable for the gentlemen. Ladies, please wear any mid-length to floor-length cocktail or summer dress.

Weather permitting, we hope to have our summer-camp themed wedding ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors. The reception with a live band will be held indoors.

The hotels are less than a 10 minute drive from the venue. Guests will be asked to provide their own transportation. An affordable taxi company is “Alpine Taxi.” They charge $15-$16 per trip from the town to the resort. If you know you will do this option, please call a day or two in advance to schedule the ride. If not, they strive to have a 10-15 minute response time. Their number is 989-731-TAXI. Business cards will be available at the resort and an announcement reminder will be made at the welcome party.

All 20 rooms at the resort are reserved for bridal party and immediate family. Hotel blocks are listed on our “Travel” page. Please also check out Airbnb, VRBO, the Treetops resort, and any lodging near Dixon Lake.

All invited guests will be listed on the formal invitation. Due to limited space at our venue, we can only accommodate our closest friends and family. We thank you for understanding!

We love children! While we would like to include everyone, we have a limited number of spots for kids at our wedding. Those invited will be listed on the invitation. If you have any questions or need clarification, please feel free to reach out to us.

Friday - Dinner (Taco Bar)
Saturday - Cocktail hour and Reception Dinner
Sunday - Breakfast casseroles in AM, Lunch (grilling out) in late afternoon
Please refer to the "Travel" section for recommended restaurants nearby. You may also bring a cooler or use the hospitality room and fridge at the venue. If you choose to do this, please let us know so we can ensure we have enough space.

Our reception food is wood fired oven pizza. We will make sure to have gluten free + vegetarian options. Please let us know your dietary restrictions in the designated RSVP section when available.

All photos and videos are welcome during the reception, however we ask for no cameras during the ceremony as we have a photographer and videographer.
